Types of Trainings:
Adult BLENDED training requires learners to complete 2.5 hours of pre-work online and then attend 6.5 hours of IN PERSON training to complete the program.
What is Mental Health First Aid?
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis.
Adult Mental Health First Aid
Mental Health First Aid for Adults teaches people how to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges in adults ages 18 and older, how to offer and provide initial help, and how to guide a person toward appropriate care if necessary
Mental Health First Aid will provide certification to participants once the course and required documents are completed. Certification is good for three years.
