Become a Certified Nursing Assistant!

West Central Missouri AHEC is partnering with Graceland University School of Nursing in Independence, Missouri to offer a hybrid CNA training program.  Students will complete didactic coursework online, participate in 2-3 in person skills lab sessions, and complete clinical hours at both CenterPoint Medical Center and a local long-term care facility. 

​The program runs January - May. 

Applications are due December 1, 2025.  Cost to participate is

$1,900 which includes access to the online coursework, testing fees, and all related costs.

Class will begin January 1 with orientation.  Students need to attend

IN-PERSON Skills checkoff labs on the following dates:​​

Saturday, March 5

Saturday, March 19

Saturday, March 26.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be 18 years of age

  • Have obtained a high school diploma or GED

  • Provide a current immunization record

  • Two forms of ID
