Youth Health Service Corps
Click here to enroll in the YHSC!
The Youth Health Service Corps is open to high school students interested in health care careers and also serving their community.

AHEC uses a nine-module curriculum developed specifically to train students to volunteer in health care and community agencies that serve vulnerable populations. We bring in guest speakers from applicable agencies to enhance the modules. Students receive a shirt and nametag to wear during volunteer hours, receive prizes and recognition.
Since this program is delivered to students directly through their high school, a minimum of 10 student participants is required, along with a staff or faculty member willing to serve as a sponsor.
