West Central Missouri AHEC provides presentations and activities to encourage youth to consider careers in health care. Our two main programs are "ACES" and Youth Health Service Corps. Click on the links to the left to read more about these programs. AHEC also offers presentations to classes and communities on the benefits of health careers.

The West Central Missouri Area Health Education Center (AHEC) is a regional center of the statewide Missouri Area Health Education Centers. Every county in Missouri is represented by one of seven regional centers. The WCMO AHEC serves the counties of Jackson, Johnson, Cass and Lafayette. Our mission: To enhance access to quality health care, particulary primary and preventative care, by growing and supporting Missouri's Healthcare Workforce.
